About this campaign

LITTLE BILLY PRESENTS: DON'T DISS ABILITY
DontDissAbility.org (For More T-Shirts)

Have you ever wondered why others, maybe even you, refer to someone's difference as a disability, disorder, or dysfunction? Probably not. It's something we never think about, yet off we go everyday to raise wareness and put an end t stigmas and labels...that we use on ourselves.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone with a neurodiversity refer to their own situation as a disability or mental illness, I could retire today!

These terms are not accurate. So many brilliant minds have improved the world thanks to neurodiversities and the ability to think unlike anyone else. These abilities may come at a struggle and cost, but this is true of anything worthwhile. Just because challenge is involved doesn't make someone disabled.

On the same note, just because certain tasks are harder for some people doesn't mean they can't excel at those or other tasks...sometimes far beyond the ability of anyone else. So why are we letting pessimism drive and leading with the negative? Why not focus on the positive? On the ability!

This message and challnge to ourselves and the world is what Don't Diss Ability is all about! Let's STOP using negative words and labels to describe neurodiversity. For good. All profits from these t-shirt sales will go directly toward funding Episode 1 of Little Billy, the world's first and only animated series about life with special needs.

Remember, we're not broken. We're just different.

My name is Chance Raspberry. I'm a lead animator on The Simpsons and I have Tourette Syndrome. Drawing and cartoons have always been my most helpful outlet for harnessing and channeling my excess energy into something productive and positive. When I'm drawing, I tic less or never and I feel balance and calm. It is my ultimate form of expression, passion, and joy.

For this reasons, I've created Little Billy, an original animated series about a 4-year-old with a rare, powerful neurodiversity. I started this project in 1999 and its message is one the world is ready for now. However, the process of funding and producing animation is extremely laborious and time-consuming (especially when you're a one-man army like me.)

Therefore, I've created Don't Diss Ability as a way to share Little Billy's message now. No more waiting! To watch the series trailer, get involved, or learn more about Little Billy, please check out his official page at Patreon.com/LittleBilly and follow his journey on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr @HesLittleBilly. If you're not like the other kids...he's just like you!
