About this campaign
Devynn was born with Unilateral Microtia and Artresia in her right ear. Microtia is when one or both ears are not fully formed. There are many different types of Microtia. Devynn has stage 3 Microtia meaning she has a little ear in the shape of a peanut almost, with no ear hole.

Devynn is from Michigan and was born with Microtia Atresia Grade III (Microtia is a congenital deformity where the (external ear) is underdeveloped. Microtia occurs in 1 out of about 8,000–10,000 births and affects hearing.
We as parents have one dream for our daughter to have an ear just like everyone else and to live a life as we all know it. Unfortunately, many insurance companies do not cover these procedures. Most surgeon’s are located in other various states and we cannot afford to grant our child’s dream. Surgeon’s costs, hospital fees, travel expenses, and hotel accommodations. Most stays range from 2-3 weeks. Devynn does need a hearing aid and will go through multiple surgeries to have an ear like "normal" people do. This goal we have for our daughter is unreachable without your help.
