Dei Gratia & Co.

My name is Henry Jerome Mendoza, and I started the concept of Dei Gratia & Co. because I wanted to open a specialty shop in the heart of Dallas, Texas that provides men with a place that will help them become the best version of themselves. Along with offering barber & grooming services, the shop will offer other lifestyle services including menswear, shoe shines, and a small cocktail bar. The retail section of the shop will feature a selection of small, independent and homegrown companies curated by myself. The goal is to work with companies that share the spirit of what Dei Gratia & Co. is: old word aesthetics for modern man. The shop will feature a small craftbar that will feature selections from small breweries and distilleries across the US and a craft cocktail menu created by local bartenders.

The actual shop itself will hopefully be made up of materials found at various flea markets, antique shops, and trade fairs around Texas. In the spirit of the shop concept, any materials purchased that need refinishing/reworking will be done by hand by myself, my family, and my friends.

This shop will be everything our father's fathers stood for. The American dream. Hard work, community, tradition, and putting forth the best version of who you are.
