About this campaign

Currently we have some rescues that are receiving medical treatment. We are fundraising to off set our veterinary bills to help rehabilitate our dogs so they may go to their furever home. The more funds we raise means the more dogos we can pull from these high kill shelters.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

DC Dogos, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation based in the National Capital Region of Maryland. Our rescue activities are currently focused on the Mid-Atlantic United States, covering the region from the District of Columbia to New York City. From time to time, if a situation dictates it, we will pull Dogos from shelters outside of this region. We are a small, young, and nimble organization, and we are well poised to rescue Dogos in need. Please check out our website as well as our Facebook page to show us some support and spread the word.1186679_199060030286572_352993806_njpgMeet one of our Rescues, Paige.Paige is finally starting to fatten up a little in foster care. She went to the vet on Wednesday for evaluation and got a complete physical and a dip for her Demodex. In addition to her heartworm and teeth troubles, the vet also found a small mass on her elbow that is going to need to be excised under anesthesia. Paige's veterinary needs are surpassing the funds that we have available to treat them. Besides Paige, we still have four other dogs at various stages of fostering who require veterinary care and feeding and we have another one on the way. It is a new year and we must raise funds to continue operating. We’re going to do several fundraisers this year, but we need your help now to care for those already in rescue. Please help us tohttp://saveadogo.org/. Thank you so much for everything you do for the Dogo Argentino.

My pound pup was my inspiration to start a rescue to help the bullies in and around Atlanta. He's the most well balanced, puppy-loving rascal (read: he still steals gloves and hats) that I've ever loved.
