About this campaign

Cycling for Sensible Drug Policy is a group for cyclists looking to end the Drug War and see the beauty of their states from the seat of an eco-friendly bicycle. In 2015, our focus is collecting enough signatures to legalize recreational marijuana in Montana to be taxed like tobacco to improve education and infrastructure. We commence on a 1,600-mile tour of Montana, through nearly 40 legislative districts, in July 2015.

I, Anthony Varriano, am a Montana medical marijuana patient. I suffer from degenerative disc disease. I've lost almost half the fluid in three discs between my lumbar vertebrae. I've already had one major back surgery, and I'm only 29 years old. I suffer from chronic back pain that will be with me the rest of my life.

While visiting Colorado in 2014 after my medical marijuana card expired, I thought I wanted to move there, but was angered by the fact I was a medical marijuana refugee being forced out of my home state because of legislators who still think cannabis is dangerous.

I had a dream about riding my bicycle around my home state of Montana, collecting signatures on a petition to make recreational cannabis legal in Montana so we can pay for education and infrastructure improvements in my state. With your help, I'll be making that dream a reality this July and August. Please help me make a better life for my fellow Montanans by purchasing one of these t-shirts, and if you find yourself in Montana in July and August, come see me on my trip and sign my petition. Details are available at GoGonzoJournal.com and on Facebook at Cycling for Sensible Drug Policy.

Medical cannabis has changed my life. lower costs than prescription pills, and far less side-effects! I do not agree with jailing people ( and ruining young adults lives) over the responsible use of a plant. I believe our society is better than this!
