About this campaign
In 2014 my seven year old son, Parker, was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. This is a chronicillness, along with ulcerative colitis,that is also know as Inflammatory Bowl Disease (IBD).IBD effects numerous members of myfamily and millions of Americans everyday. This year we are running in the Vermont City Marathon to raise awareness about IBD and to support an organizationcalled ImproveCareNow. This is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that is a network where pediatric
gastroenterologists, nurses, other professionals, patients and parents from
around the nation work together to improve the quality of care for kids
with Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis.
