BOOSTER Ventures was founded by Dr. Boris Anderer in 2001 and focuses on management and financing consulting in particular of fast growing IT and Internet companies. In close cooperation with the founders and managers strategy, business operations and business plan are optimized to ensure a successful and high-value business development.
BOOSTER is closely cooperating with Wellington Partners and Grazia Equity, two leading European Venture Capital companies, investing predominantly in early-stage and emerging growth IT, Internet & new media, semiconductor & new materials, Cleantech, and Biotech companies.
Boris is General Partner of BOOSTER and was co-founder and CEO of the New Jersey headquartered Reldata Inc. between 2004 and 2007. Reldata offers a new generation of high performing virtualized data storage solutions that provide significant simplification and cost savings within complex data storage infrastructures. From 1994 to 2000 Boris was co-founder, Co-CEO and finally Chairman of the German Brokat AG. During this time Brokat grew to one of the most significant publicly traded German software enterprises of the New Economy age. Boris holds a doctor's degree in physics and worked 4 years as consultant at the management consultancy McKinsey & Company.
In 2008 Boris was President of the German Tech Tour, one of the toughest German startup competitions where delegates of 30 of the most established Venture Capital firms select the 25 best startup companies from the industry sectors IT, Internet based services, semiconductor technology and cleantech.
