About this campaign
Community Food Advocates is a Nashville-based nonprofit focused on food security; we work to provide access to healthy and affordable food for everyone in our community. One way we accomplish this goal is through our Nashville Mobile Market, a truck that travels to food desert areas (neighborhoods without access to healthy or affordable food) to provide access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
We recently unveiled our new and improved Mobile Market truck, but are currently working to equip it with necessary materials (shelving, A/C unit, refrigerator, and scales) to make it fully functional in working towards our goal to end hunger in Nashville. Please help us reach our goal and work towards our mission by purchasing a shirt! All proceeds will go towards Community Food Advocates' new Mobile Market.
Community Food Advocates is a Nashville-based non-profit organization committed to end hunger by creating a healthy, sustainable, and just food system. We are farmers, parents, students, persons of faith, community gardeners, and health advocates united by the idea that all members of our community should have access to food grown in a way that promotes the health of people, planet, and community.
Our Nashville Mobile Market travels to food desert areas (neighborhoods without access to healthy & affordable food) to make fresh and healthy food more available to everyone. We recently unveiled our new Mobile Market truck (see picture below), but we are currently working to equip it with the necessary items to safely provide produce to Nashville neighborhoods: shelving, an A/C unit, refrigerator, and scales.
