About this campaign
The CHCS library hosts an annual conference for middle schoolers called Write to Read Day. We bring in authors, poets, song writers, playwrights, activists, academics, interpreters, and artists to come share their craft with our students. We need your help to pay their fees and subsidize the sale of discounted shirts to students. Any funds leftover will be put towards next year's event. Though our community founded dual language public school was founded 16 years ago, our library is just four years old. True to the grassroots origins of our school, the bulk of the library work is managed and executed by students. Our team of mini-librarians meet three days a week on five different committees- management, display, digital, fundraising, and promotion. In fact, it was one of these students who discovered Booster and recommended we try it out!
