JUST BREATHE FOR BRANDON ADAMS DOUBLE LUNG TRANSPLANT

Brandon Adams was born on April 12th, 1995. On July 26, 1995 he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.. He has been fighting since then to overcome many obstacles, but he’s never given up. In 2012, Brandon had the lower half of his lungs collapse in which the doctors had to use sand paper and talc to cause scar tissue to hold up his lungs and make them stick to his chest cavity. He is now required to be on oxygen every night while he sleeps. Brandon is in and out of the hospital constantly, almost like its a second home for him. He is scheduled for a lung transplant evaluation sometime soon so he can be listed for a double lung transplant. Him and I (Brandon’s mom) will both be out of state for at-least 3 months if everything goes well after his transplant. Brandon and I will have to make multiple trips to doctor appointments and he will be put on a lot of different medications. He will also become a diabetic and he’ll be restrained from eating certain foods. During this time, I will be out of a job and will not be able to afford certain costs that come along with this procedure. Any donations that can be made to help Brandon’s double lung transplant will be greatly appreciated by Brandon, his family and friends.
