My name is Gabriel Gessler, and I'm the President of the BOSS National Honor Society Chapter. I was accepted into National Honor Society in November of 2013. We are a chapter of 30 members 17 of which are graduating this year. Over the course the school year, myself and my fellow officers have overseen: OGT peer tutoring- the most successful BOSS has ever seen, OAA tutoring, the supervision and assistance of BOSS field trips, a school wide Kindness Kampaign, and student advertising videos. We have volunteered at soup kitchens, homeless shelters, humane society projects and mission trips. We have a collective 1600 hours and counting of community service since November. The money we raise not only goes toward scholarships, but to service projects as well. 

National Honor Society's job is to empower teenagers to go out into their communities and to do good for other people. In a world of teen violence, sex, drinking, and drug use, National Honor Society is more than just a school club. It is a tool of empowerment that teaches teenagers that while we may not be able to cure cancer or bring about peace, we can do something important. It teaches us that caring for our communities, for the homeless, for the children, for the weak, for the needy, for the Elderly- is just as important. 

Every dollar you contribute to us is a dollar toward: the homeless, the children, the earth and most importantly, good.
