Purchase this great shirt and help raise awareness of Autism while helping us get Nick the extra support he needs. All funds raised will go directly to his therapies and equipment recommended by his occupational therapist.
Nick was a typically developing baby. However we started noticing “red flags” as he got older and thanks to a few very special therapists we were set on the right path to have him evaluated for Autism. He was diagnosed in 2012 as having ASD-SPD with speech and language impairment. Since then we have done everything we can to get him the best support and therapies he needs so we can communicate with him better. He has come along way with his speech as well as his ability to express himself with what he wants or needs. We have discovered after many hours of being on hold and transferred here and there, that our insurance will NOT cover ANYTHING Autism related. Leaving us to pay for everything he needs out of pocket. After months of budgeting, looking for ways to cut back and save so we can afford his therapies and whatever else may come up that he needs. There is nothing we can possibly do to stretch our funds any thinner.
