Mickie's Seizure Dog Fundraiser ;-)

Mickie has done it again!! It took some tweaking and perfecting, but we did it!!! She wanted to incorporate one of the things she loves the most, which is martial arts, along with her fight to end epilepsy (preferably hers). For most of you that don't know, she was recently in the hospital with stroke-like symptoms....keep in mind, she's only 12 1/2 years old and has not been able to walk without the aid of a walker for almost three months now. She has currently started her 7th seizure medication, but has had at least three seizures since her discharge from the hospital. They are referring Mickie to a pediatric epileptologist at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. We will keep you all posted on her web sites!! We have been raising money for about 7 months toward a seizure response dog. One of these beautiful Labrador retrievers will be a part of our family, hopefully this summer! However, insurance does not cover these animals, and it will prove to be a major benefit and a boost of confidence and support in Mickie's life!! These beautifully trained animals cost around $10,000-12,000 dollars. We do not have far to go and we look to you for support!!! If you can please share this fundraiser to your family and friends, these would make great gifts for the little karate kid in your life!!!!! We are so proud of her for coming up with this design and can't wait to see it!!!
