About this campaign

As a member of this cohort I am participating in a 3-month program that is the equivalent of taking a semester-long graduate course. The goal is to make me a more informed, articulate, and effective spokesperson for an LGBT-affirming theological position in discussions with other Christians about LGBT issues.

At the end of this process we will all come together in D.C. (from around the nation and beyond) for a 3-day conference. The conference will include sessions on the following:

▪ In-depth training on the Bible and LGBT issues ▪ How to talk about the “six passages” with non-affirming Christians ▪ How to talk about gender, marriage, and bigger-picture theological issues ▪ Introduction to organizing: leadership, organizing, and public speaking ▪ Preparing to go home and make change
