About this campaign

Hi, I could really use your help. I have been unable to work and have building medical bills. By purchasing a t-shirt you will not only be showing that you are proud to be greek, but also helping out a panhellenic sister. All sale will go directly to bills.

Hi, my name is Sam and I am a Sigma Kappa at Arizona State. Over the last two years, i have been quite ill. I was finally diagnosed with POTS in November of 2013. Since then I have tried to keep a normal life, but it is proving rather difficult. I have since had to go on LOA from both Sigma Kappa and my job as well as dropping to an online, part time student. I truly love my sorority and I sincerely appreciate you looking at my page and any help you may be able to give.
Here is a little more information on POTS. It stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachtachardia Symptom. Basically it is a heart condition and mainly affects the autonomic system. My body can’t regulate my blood flow.
It pools in the lower extremities when standing or sitting for too long which causes a lack of blood to the brain which causes the dizziness and blackouts. I’ve spent 1 week in the hospital 3 times over the last 6 months not including ER visits and have numerous tests monthly. That’s mainly what the money is for because insurance wouldn't cover the last stay and some of my ER visits.
